As the French begin heading to the polls tomorrow, Marine Le Pen, a candidate that appeals to voters in many of the same ways Trump did during his campaign, is paralleling her American counterpart in a similar boost in support. In a report by Odoxa, it showed her climbing from her statistics from the last week, closing in on centrist Emmanuel Macron. Though the race is far from over, and Le Pen's victory definitely not in the basket, she is becoming more and more of a possibility in the choosing of the next French President.
It is probably safe to say that a large majority of Le Pen's sudden boost in support comes from undecided voters outraged by the Champs-Elysees attack on April 20th, leaving a police officer dead and another injured.
More to come in the next few days.
