Can we take a moment to talk about the "tolerant" left? The political party that lectures people about being accepting to all, yet at the same time won't even listen to somebody that has a different opinion than them. How is that being tolerant? How is preventing conservative speakers from talking at your campus tolerant? How is dismissing people from events and rallies because they voted for Trump tolerant? The simple answer: it's not. The left is about as close-minded and opinionated as they come. They feel so entitled to everything that they throw a temper-tantrum every time they don't get their way. The fact that they can even lecture conservatives about "privilege" shows that they are in fact themselves privileged. People in other countries can’t even speak out about their opinions on anything out of fear of federal punishment. Those are the true people that are oppressed. Those are the true victims of a corrupt regime.
Not the Americans who didn't get the candidate they wanted in office. Not the Americans that have tons of student loans to pay off because they majored in a useless area of study. The left is screaming out to everyone around them about how they are being silenced. By who? Because I can hear your whining and complaining, and quite frankly, it's getting old. Although the left won't admit it, they are the ones who are creating this divisive country that they so fear. They are the ones that are pushing us away and telling us we are wrong just because we won't agree with them. And they do this all in the name of free speech. They need to understand who it was that gave them the freedom to talk about their hatred for our country. Who it was that gave them the ability to burn the American flag. The left has lost a sense of patriotism and has instead turned into a group of self-centered individuals. As a parting thought, I believe that JFK said it best, "Ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what you can do for your country".
