Opinion: The Best of Trump's First 100 Days

Recently, the 100-day mark of Trump's presidency rolled around, and with that mark came a big load of media bias. Of course, anyone who is reading this is well trained to detect media bias, but sometimes they can be so convincing that you need to fact check just to be certain. We shouldn't have to fact check the news, but for those who are actually reading this as a fact check, you're about to be shown that yet again, the media lies. To those who are reading this just for more information, good job. What I'm going to do with this article is highlight all that has occurred over the past 100 days that is good, bad, and obviously controversial.

1. Gorsuch

Possibly one of the biggest (and in my opinion best) things that has occurred over the past 100 days is the nomination of Neil Gorsuch (yay). This was also one of the biggest challenges that Trump faced because as we all know many of our nation's democratic leaders wouldn't accept Gorsuch, resulting in the controversial "nuclear option".

2. The Economy & Jobs

Next good thing that's happened: jobs and the economy. Stocks are looking great, with consumer surplus and stocks at a new high. I don't know if anyone remembers or not because it seems like this happened forever ago, but Trump left the Trans-Pacific Partnership. This resulted in a Carrier furnace manufacturing plant remaining in the great state of Indiana instead of moving to Mexico.

3. The Wall? Still waiting on it.

I think that many can agree that this was one of the best 100 days. My favorite part of the Trump campaign was the wall, so I was very, very excited when I heard that Trump had pushed it forward. However, we still don't have the money to build it, and not to be a pessimist, but unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that Mexico will pay for it.

4. ISIS

The absolute best thing that Trump has done so far would be working to defeat ISIS. I won't elaborate on it much, but I hate terrorism more than I've hated anything in my entire life. You can imagine that I'd be glad to hear that Trump is planning on getting rid of them.

5. The Keystone Pipeline

Another blast from the past, the Keystone XL pipeline. Although it created a lot of jobs, a lot of liberals did what they believe they do best and protested. Wasn't that fun to watch?
What I'm really looking forward to, other than the wall would be what's going to happen when Trump gets NAFTA figured out. I don't know about any of you, but it's sure will be great when we get rid of that burden.

Of course, plenty of other things have happened over the past 100 days, and I'm sure there will be plenty of amazing things to come, but these are some of the big issues that I felt were the most interesting. They're also a lot more fun to write about because they've gotten more media coverage *eye roll*. Anyone that has an interest in these, and wish to talk to me about it, can DM me @republican_millennial on Instagram.
