What To Expect: Neil Gorsuch

We all probably know by now post-Senate's Nuclear tactic, and at a 54-45 margin, that Neil Gorsuch will be following the legacy of the late-Justice Scalia.

For those that don't know much about Neil Gorsuch, and why he's important, here's some background information and what you should expect from him.

Behind the Nomination:

Gorsuch is a judge on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver.

His age? 49. He has been the youngest nominee for a SCOTUS justice in the last 25 years- That's important because it means he will be shaping many Supreme Court rulings for the decades to come.

On the issues? That's probably what everyone wants to get to.

He is the author of "The Future of Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia," and in it, concludes that no form of Euthanasia should be legalized.

Gorsuch is a defender of the First Amendment's free exercise clause, which he helds strongest in the notions of religious liberties and access to contraceptions.

Gorsuch is a Justice that will view the Constitution through the lens that he interprets to be the original intent of the founding fathers.

He probably won't be all that different from Scalia.

With all this, Conservatives. You can sleep easy at night knowing that there will be another man sitting in the SCOTUS upholding the moral values of this great nation.
